Our parish’s Office of Evangelization and Faith Formation is available for children who need sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion. According to diocesan guidelines, this is a two-year program. Here at Assumption Parish, a child usually begins in the first grade and celebrates First Eucharist in May of the second grade. Children in the second grade and above who have not begun preparing for the celebration of this sacrament are invited to participate in our parish program.

Classes for students, grades 3 through 6,take place on Monday or Tuesday.
Special needs classes are held on Saturday mornings.
Please note based on our past registration numbers, we are offering three class times for levels 1-2-3-6-7 and two class times for levels 4 and 5 will be taken on a first come first-served basis and class sizes are limited. Please register early if you would like a specific day of the week and time.
The Diocese requires a two-year formation period for the celebration of this sacrament.
Here at Assumption parish, this program begins first year in grade 7 and second year in grade 8, with the student participating in classes which take place on Monday or Tuesday.
All forms will be available online at www.abvmcentereach.com, starting on Monday, July 11, 2022, and registration will end on Monday, September 12, 2022.
