Welcome to Assumption High School Youth Ministry

Assumption Youth Ministry is an engaging and welcoming community for teens and Middle School children, as well as their families and friends. We offer fun events, service projects, retreats, and transformative small groups designed to help our young people encounter Jesus.

Our Youth Ministry exists to create a place for our young people where they can belong to the family of God, grow in the relationship with Christ, learn to serve, and then go and share Christ in the world and with the world. Our teams of dedicated youth leaders surround youth with unconditional love, anchor them in the joys of Christian Faith, energize and equip them to extend the love of Christ so they may grow into mature disciples of Jesus.

We believe that parents’ involvement, help and support are an essential part of our youth ministry. Therefore there will be many opportunities for parents to be involved through various events as well as on a weekly basis. It is our sincere hope and prayer that our faith journey together will continue to form all of us in the Catholic faith and that our Assumption Youth Ministry will be an uplifting and fulfilling experience for all.

Our Youth Ministry work specifically with two different age groups: teens and middle school.

• Assumption High School Youth Ministry (AYM) works specifically with teens grades nine through twelve, meets on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 m.
• Middle School Ministry, works specifically for grades six-through eight, meets on Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:45 m.
